This is pure comfort food right here. My mama made something just like this every Friday night. Brings back so many memories.
November is a little early for fresh tails around here. Frozen Louisiana ones are fine but skip the Chinese imported crawfish please.
Does anyone know if this works with shrimp instead? My kids aren't big crawfish fans but I want to try the sauce.
Frozen tails work fine honestly. Just make sure you thaw them good and pat them dry or the sauce gets watery.
Made something similar last weekend and my family demolished it. Definitely using Tony's for the Creole seasoning, nothing else comes close.
