Lafayette Events: October 20–25, 2026 |
Live music, fall family fun, food, basketball and a free weekend expo fill the local calendar. |

Lafayette’s calendar is packed from Tuesday through Sunday with art, sports, food, fall family fun and major live music.
Tuesday, October 20 — Creole French Table and Jam. Start the week by celebrating Acadiana’s language and music traditions at the Creole French Table and Jam, one of the cultural gatherings listed on Lafayette Travel’s current calendar.
Wednesday, October 21 — Artist Round Up. Acadiana Center for the Arts hosts a Gelli Printing session with Scrappie Studio, giving creative residents a midweek option centered on hands-on printmaking.
Thursday, October 22 — Ragin’ Cajuns Women’s Basketball. The Cajuns face LSU Alexandria at the CAJUNDOME, offering local fans an early look at the women’s basketball team.
Friday, October 23 — Bach Lunch with Amelie Cecile. Downtown Lafayette’s free lunchtime concert runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Parc Sans Souci, with food vendors opening at 11 and live music scheduled from noon to 1.
Organizers encourage guests to bring blankets and chairs for the picnic-style performance at 201 E. Vermilion Street.
Friday, October 23 — Zach Top at the CAJUNDOME. The Cold Beer & Country Music Fall Tour arrives with special guest Lukas Nelson, with doors at 6:30 p.m. and the concert beginning at 8 p.m.
Tickets are on sale, everyone needs a ticket, and the event uses mobile SafeTix rather than screenshots or printed tickets.
October 23–25 — Parc de Oaks Pumpkin Patch. Families looking for a seasonal outing can visit the pumpkin patch during its Friday-through-Sunday run.
Because hours and admission details can change, visitors should confirm the latest information before leaving home.
October 23–24 — Acadiana Eats Festival. The two-day culinary event adds a food-focused choice to an already busy weekend and is listed on Lafayette Travel’s official weekend calendar.
October 23–25 — Hot Tub & Swim Spa Blowout Expo. The CAJUNDOME Convention Center hosts the free-admission expo Friday from 2–8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m.–8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
The show advertises up to 40 hot tubs and swim spas from five major brands, along with cold tubs and saunas.
Friday visitors should note that expo parking will use Gate 11 behind the Convention Center because of the Zach Top concert, with overflow parking across the street at Cajun Field.
October 19–31 — Boo at the Zoo. Zoosiana’s seasonal celebration continues throughout the week, giving families another Halloween-themed option beyond the weekend.
Schedules, ticket availability and weather plans can shift, so checking each organizer’s current page is the safest move before heading out.
Whether your ideal outing involves live music, a pumpkin patch, local food, basketball or a little shopping, this week offers plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy Lafayette. |

Lafayette definitely has something for everyone this week!
Thanks for putting the dates and times together in one place.
This is a great mix of things to do. Bach Lunch and the pumpkin patch both sound fun.
