Lafayette has no shortage of great places to eat, shop, explore, and connect, but finding them isn't always easy.

That's why Lafayette Loop has launched three new community resources: a local Business Directory, a Hotspots guide, and an Events Calendar.

Together, they offer residents more ways to discover what's nearby while helping local businesses reach the people who want to support them.

For a neighborhood restaurant, a small shop, or a growing service business, being discovered can make all the difference.

The new Lafayette Loop Business Directory is designed to give those businesses another place to be seen.

Residents can use the directory to explore local options instead of relying only on familiar names or word of mouth.

Businesses can request a free business page, making participation accessible even to owners who aren't ready to invest in advertising.

The goal is simple: help more people find more Lafayette businesses.

For businesses wanting a more detailed presence, premium listings provide additional information that helps potential customers decide where to go or whom to contact.

Those features include operating hours, social media profile links, images, customer reviews, website information, phone numbers, and a more complete business profile.

That extra context can be especially helpful when someone is comparing options or discovering a business for the first time.

Premium listings are available at no cost for one year during the launch.

Businesses can also purchase a Featured listing for greater prominence within their category. Featured placements appear at the top of their category, with only a limited number of spots available in each one.

While the directory helps people find established businesses, the new Hotspots resource shines a light on local activity that doesn't always stay in one place.

Think food trucks that move around town, pop-up shops, farmers markets, artist markets, food festivals, and mobile services.

These experiences are part of what makes Lafayette's local scene interesting, but they can be easy to miss when you don't know where to look.

Hotspots gives the community another way to discover the businesses and experiences that bring energy to our neighborhoods.

That visibility matters to vendors and entrepreneurs whose next customer may be just a few blocks away. Hotspots can be submitted at lafayetteloop.com/join/hotspots

The third addition is the Lafayette Loop Events Calendar, a resource focused on helping residents keep up with things happening around the community.

Whether you're planning a weekend outing, looking for something to do with friends, or hoping to explore a different side of Lafayette, an events calendar can make planning easier.

It also gives local happenings another opportunity to reach interested residents. Events can be added at lafayetteloop.com/join/events.

These three resources share a larger purpose: keeping more attention, discovery, and opportunity close to home.

When residents discover a new restaurant, visit a market, or choose a local service provider, those decisions can strengthen the connections that make Lafayette distinctive.

For business owners, more visibility means more chances to introduce their work to neighbors who may not have heard of them yet.

For residents, it means having a convenient starting point for exploring the community.

And for everyone, it means celebrating the people and places that give Lafayette its character.

Local business owners who want a free directory listing can submit their business at lafayetteloop.com/join/directory with their business name and address exactly as they want them published.

Residents can explore the new Business Directory, Hotspots, and Events Calendar through Lafayette Loop.

The next favorite spot, useful service, or memorable local outing might be one discovery away.
