A new 62-bed behavioral health hospital has opened in Lafayette, significantly expanding local access to mental health treatment. The facility is a partnership between Ochsner Lafayette General and Oceans Healthcare and provides specialized care for adolescents, adults and seniors.

Services include inpatient treatment as well as partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. The project addresses access to behavioral and mental healthcare across the Acadiana region. Ochsner held the facility's ribbon-cutting June 10, with patient care beginning July 7.
