Pelican Ball 2026 Celebrates Acadiana Arts and Philip Gould |
The November 6 fundraiser brings supporters together at the Acadiana Center for the Arts |

Pelican Ball 2026 returns Friday, November 6, for an elegant night supporting the Acadiana Center for the Arts.
The annual fundraiser runs from 7 to 11 p.m. at 101 West Vermilion Street in downtown Lafayette.
This year’s celebration honors photographer Philip Gould, whose work has documented Louisiana culture, landscapes and people for decades.
Tickets are listed at $125, with proceeds helping AcA continue its arts programming and community work across Acadiana.
Guests can review event details and purchase admission through the official Pelican Ball ticket page.
Additional exhibitions and programs are listed on the AcA calendar.
It is part gala, part cultural tribute and a strong reason to dress up for downtown Lafayette.

This looks like a beautiful night downtown and a strong way to support local arts programming. The ticket price and hours are helpful.
Honoring Philip Gould feels especially fitting for an Acadiana arts fundraiser. His photographs have documented so much of Louisiana culture.
